Christelle and Franck made the right choice
Owners of a lovely 3-room apartment in Les Arcs for 20 years, Christelle and Franck loved to recharge their batteries there in the winter while skiing. But as they got older, the need for space and tranquility was felt.
“Summers in the resort quickly become limited when you are looking for peace and quiet in the countryside. And you dream of a piece of land for the vegetable garden and the barbecue!” says Christelle.
Rather than sell at the prohibitive prices of the resorts, the couple chose to exchange their property for a house with land in Beaujolais. All the while keeping a mountain pied-à-terre via a system of recurring exchanges.
